Seeing as my wife and I tied the knot last year, I'm all for same-sex marriage. :D
I do think that telling personal stories goes a long way in helping people understand why this is so important to us. Look forward to catching the film at some point!
I think marriage is a huge commitment whether you are gay or straight. No matter what, it should be because you love the person and love their quirks as much as their attributes. There are so many unhealthy relationships out there between two people of the opposite sex. That is wrong. There are also many unhealthy same sex relationships. Marriage is not the real issue. The issue is people having healthy relationships. There are many same sex relationships that are very healty. People should look into their own relationships and evaluate the state of it before casting judgement on the love shared between two other people.
